Still looking for a DJ

We decided, well John Gallager would do a good job and was very professional we just can't afford him. So we are on the hunt again for a reasonable priced DJ that will do a good job we have a few leads and hopefully we will find one soon.

Mass producin

I made up ten invitations last night and man what was I thinking designing these tons of work. If you've ever tried to cut tissue paper you will know what I'm talking about. I found a better way to adhere the ribbons I'm using the hot glue gun and that makes it a little faster but there is still alot of cutting and stuff to do. I'm printing them on 80lb cardstock on the HP at work and they seem to be printing pretty good beleive it or not. Oh well, I think they look nice and thanks to Janet for proofing them. With my gramar skill as you will see on this site I definally need someone like her to help.

Finally found um all

I finally have all my groomsmen. I asked my brother in-law jeremy or jerome as I like to call him he he. Now all I have to do is pick some tuxs that match the dresses and get some gifts for them all and I got that stuff finished. On another note we went and looked at cakes on Friday and we chose a nice three teir round cake with some fresh cut flowers and best thing of all it was pretty well priced for a wedding cake.

Weddings are a pain in the ass to plan for. You always got someone telling you how to do things for your wedding. I got most of the stuff already planned out but still alot to do.

The Invites

I've been working on our invitations lately and I must say they are turning out quite nicely. I am using this design and cutting out around the flowers and folding it over on the yellow box border. Then I have added a purple ribbon and some nice copy we found. I will be using a nice tissue paper in th centers with a slight over hang. I need to design the RSVP card and the mapping instructions but that shouldn't be bad.

Another month gone by

well another month has passed, we are pretty excited about being married but a little less enthusiastic about talking infront of all those people. The reception is pretty much covered we have allot of stuff done of coarse the hardest thing, the food, will come very last.
